Diodes Inc.
Diodes Inc. of Chatsworth Chatsworth, estate, Derbyshire, central England, near Chesterfield. It is the seat of the dukes of Devonshire. Begun in 1552, the present Classical-style Chatsworth House was rebuilt in 1686.
Diodes Inc. of Chatsworth announced the completion of the sale of 1
million shares of its common stock in a private placement to Silitek
Corp. of Taiwan Taiwan (tī`wän`), Portuguese Formosa, officially Republic of China, island nation (2005 est. pop. 22,894,000), 13,885 sq mi (35,961 sq km), in the Pacific Ocean, separated from the mainland of S China by the 100-mi-wide (161-km) Taiwan . Diodes also granted Silitek a two-year option to
purchase an additional 1 million shares at the same price. Total
consideration for the cash transaction was $1,875,000 or $1 7/8 per
share. In a previous private sale, Silitek purchased 945,800 shares of
Diodes' common stock from Microsemi Corp. Upon the issuance of the
new 1 million shares, Silitek will own 42 percent of the issued and
outstanding stock of Diodes. If Silitek exercises the additional option,
its holding in Diodes will increase to 52 percent.
