Digitas Inc. (NASDAQ: DTAS) today announced that it has attracted an all-star team of e-services professionals under the leadership of Krishnan Menon, the newly appointed President of Digitas West.

Menon's responsibilities as President of Digitas West include the oversight of Digitas' San Francisco and Salt Lake City offices and the support and development of Western region client relationships.

Prior to joining Digitas, Menon was President and Chief Operating Officer of the TheRightSize, Inc., a supplier of profit-enhancing software for multichannel retailers. Previously, he was Managing Partner and Global Practice Leader for Retail at USWeb/CKS (now marchFIRST). Menon has also served as an Internet security consultant to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, Chief Technology Officer of Ikonic Interactive, and CEO of Studio Araneum, the Internet consulting company he founded. Early in his career, he was an award-winning copywriter at Leo Burnett. Menon serves on the boards of TheRightSize, Inc., ableMobile, and The Electronic Literature Organization. He is a member of Microsoft's Internet Advisory Board and serves as an advisor to Polaris Venture Partners. He was awarded the Interactive/Consumer Web Site Clio (Williams-Sonoma) in 2000. Menon graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with BS degree in Computer Information Systems. He also conducted research on collaborative data models at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is fluent in five languages and three dialects.

Patricia Anton, SVP, Client Solutions. Anton will be responsible for leading key client engagements within Digitas West and for developing strategic eCRM offerings and solutions. Prior to Digitas, Anton served as Senior Vice President in charge of Enterprise Relationship Management consulting at iXL, where she spearheaded the development of personalization, online and offline campaign management, decision support /analytics, data warehousing, customer care, sales force automation, and content management solutions. Previously, she held several management positions at Cigna International, most recently as Vice President of Marketing for North and South America, where she set regional marketing strategies for consumer and commercial financial services and insurance lines. As an acknowledged thought leader in the eCRM space, Anton frequently speaks at seminars, conferences and symposiums on the subject. Anton holds a BS from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.

David Luke, Vice President, Delivery Management. Luke will be responsible for running the Delivery Management group at Digitas West, ensuring process adherence, quality control and schedule management for all client engagements. Prior to Digitas, Luke was Vice President of Product Development at TheRightSize, Inc., managing the development of all software products. Previously, Luke was a partner in the Retail practice at USWeb/CKS, where he ran project delivery for Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, JCPenney, The Sharper Image, and Levi's. At USWeb/CKS, Luke successfully oversaw three simultaneous projects for Williams-Sonoma, managing and coordinating over 40 personnel in four geographic locations to deliver an on-time and under-budget eCommerce channel for the retailer. Luke also managed and launched successful eCommerce channels for Levi's and Dockers. Prior to that, Luke led the development of 3Com's first foray into eCommerce. He is a certified member of the Project Management Institute. Luke holds a BS from the United States Air Force Academy and an MS from the University of Southern California.

Warren Raisch, SVP, Digital Strategy Group. Raisch will be responsible for the identification and strategic planning of new markets, digital business strategy for clients, and growth of the company's business-to-business expertise. Prior to Digitas, Raisch was Executive Director of eBusiness for marchFIRST. Raisch has also led the business development of domestic and international markets for Apple Computer, 3Com Corporation, and Gateway Computer. Raisch founded WorldCast Networks, Inc., where he was CEO and developed B2B and B2C digital marketplaces such as e-Exchange.com. Raisch is the author of "eMarketplaces: Strategies for Succeeding in B2B eCommerce" from McGraw-Hill, as well as the publisher of the "eMarketplace Outlook" through Jupiter Communications. Raisch sits on the Board of Directors of a number of companies, including e-Capital, PeopleNet.com, and Gideon Gartners' latest business venture, Gideon.com.

Robert Tekiela, EVP, Integrated Technology Group. Tekiela will be responsible for running and extending Digitas' technical capabilities in the western United States. Tekiela has 15 years of experience in information technology, including Internet systems development, strategic technology planning, back-end system integration and call-center development and integration. From 1997 to 2001, Tekiela was with Sapient Corporation, most recently as Chief Technology Officer for the Financial Services unit. At Sapient, he also served as a member of the Solutions Architecture Group, which directs companywide technology efforts. From 1991 to 1996, he ran consulting businesses providing software development services to corporations in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. His earlier experience includes research on Machine Vision and software development for the Institute of Nuclear Physics. Tekiela holds an MS from the University of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow, Poland.
