Siemens Hearing Instruments introduces a new line of PHOENIX[TM] BTE instruments that combines the sound quality of digital technology with the simplicity of conventional trimmer controls. All three PHOENIX BTEs provide advanced features, such as microphone noise reduction for clearer sound quality and audible signal indicators for low-battery status.

The new PHOENIX BTE line offers different power levels in three models, so hearing care professionals have more options for their patients. Suitable for mild through moderate hearing loss, the PHOENIX 113 is a mini-BTE with trimmer controls for gain low cut filter, and maximum output. Suitable for moderate to severe hearing loss, the PHOENIX 213 is a midsize BTE with trimmer controls for high cut filter, low cult filter, and maximum output. Suitable for severe to profound hearing loss, the PHOENIX 313 is a super-power BTE with trimmer controls for high cut filter, low cut filter, and maximin output. PHOENIX 313 is compatible with most FM systems.

Siemens also enhanced its two-channel PHOENIX custom styles with new patient-friendly features. A Switchless[TM] Telecoil option, available on the ITE, HS, and ITG models, turns on automatically when used with a compatible telephone. Available on all models, audible signal indicators are standard and help inform the patients when it is time to change the battery.
