uWink uWink, Inc. (stock symbol: UWKI) is a publicly-traded digital entertainment company based out of Los Angeles, California. The company was founded in 2000 by Nolan Bushnell, the co-founder and former CEO of both Atari and Chuck E. Cheese. Inc., a Van Nuys-based digital entertainment company,
launched a national franchise program to provide the technological
infrastructure, operational support, and intellectual property needed to
open uWink restaurants around the country. The company currently has one
restaurant, which opened last month in Woodland Hills. uWink also plans
to open company-owned restaurants in Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, in the next

executive of Atari Atari Computer was a video game manufacturer founded in 1972 in Sunnyvale, CA, by Nolan Bushnell, who named the company after a word used in the Japanese game of Go. Atari became famous for "Pong," a video game that simulated Ping-Pong on TV. and the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant chain, uWink
restaurants feature touch screen terminals at each table through which
guests order food and media, and interact with other tables. When
franchises open, guests will be able to communicate from restaurant to
restaurant.
