 reporting to President and Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Katina A. Matis has been hired by Digital Video Systems, Inc., in this new position effective May 1, 1997, and holds the title Manager of Corporate Communications and Administration, and will be located at DVS's corporate headquarters in Silicon Valley, California, at 2710 Walsh Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95051.

Digital Video Systems, Inc., develops, manufactures and markets digital video compression and decompression hardware and software and has locations in the U.S., in Hong Kong, and in Taiwan.

Digital Video Systems's growing U.S. and Asian markets require a corporate communications contact to address the information needs of DVS's stockholders on a timely basis.
