Digital River Supports Pilot Program for Sale of Downloadable Software on eBay; Launches New Online Store as First Pre-Approved Seller of Downloadable Software.


MINNEAPOLIS -- Digital River, Inc. Located at http://stores.ebay.com/downloadstore, Digital River's download software store is part of eBay's pilot program to test the opportunity of offering downloadable software on eBay's site. The launch marked the introduction of the purchase category to eBay's community of consumers.

To cater to the eBay community, Digital River designed and launched the software store, which features a catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library.
