STERLING, Va. -- IMIX Americas Inc., a provider of innovative digital radiography products, today announced the opening of its new U.S. headquarters in Sterling, Va. The office, located in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area, will house sales, technical support, and administrative functions to support IMIX's North American business efforts.

According to Sigrid Smitt-Jeppesen, president and chief executive officer of IMIX Americas, IMIX ADR has been a significant player in the Asian and European markets for digital radiography for several years, commanding more than 50 percent of the Chinese market for CCD-based digital detectors, and an increased presence in the U.S. market was a logical next step.
