Digital Intelligence Strengthens Management Team With Addition of Iomega Executive; New Vice President to Head-Up Sales and Business Development.


SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 17, 1999--

Digital Intelligence(tm), a leading developer of digital imaging software for consumer electronics products, today announced the appointment of Mike Lynch as vice president of sales and business development.

Lynch will assume his new role beginning June 21 and will be responsible for Digital Intelligence's sales, licensing and strategic partnerships. He brings over 14 years of technology and business development experience from such companies as Iomega, Adaptec and Calera/Caere.

Before coming to Digital Intelligence, Lynch was the worldwide director of the Beyond PC Applications group at Iomega. As worldwide director he founded the strategic business effort aimed at Zip(R) and Clik!(tm) penetration of non-PC products such as set-top boxes The cable TV box that sits on "top" of the TV "set," although it is often located several feet away in an equipment rack. The set-top box descrambles the premium channels and provides a tuner for the higher cable numbers that very old TVs did not support. , game devices, digital imaging products, printers and scanners, resulting in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  deals with strategic partners such as Sega, Lexmark, Microtek and NEC (NEC Corporation, Tokyo, www.nec.com, www.necus.com) An electronics conglomerate known in the U.S. for its monitors.
