Digital Fountain, the leading innovator in delivering high-demand rich content to television-scale Internet audiences, has made two new additions to its executive team. Theodor Nissim has joined the company as vice president of engineering and Charles Oppenheimer has joined as vice president of business development.

Mr. Nissim has more than 15 years of experience building technical teams, developing technology strategy and driving innovative products and solutions to market. Mr. Nissim previously worked at AuctionWatch.com, where he served as executive vice president of engineering and chief information officer. Prior to that, he worked at AdKnowledge as vice president of engineering. Mr. Nissim spent five years at Sun Microsystems, where he held the position of senior engineering manager, enterprise server system software. At Sun, Mr. Nissim led the software business and development initiative for the enterprise server product line. Mr. Nissim holds a MSEE and a BSCE (summa cum laude) from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology and has completed executive education at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.

As vice president of engineering at Digital Fountain, Mr. Nissim will be responsible for the entire product development activity, the advancement of engineering processes, including development, implementation and quality assurance, as well as the continued growth of Digital Fountain's engineering team.

Mr. Oppenheimer is a senior business executive with more than 18 years of experience, specializing in networking and communications. He has held the positions of president and chief executive officer, Aptivia/VivaSmart, a data service provider, which was acquired by Yahoo!; chief operating officer, Oneworld Systems Inc., a wide-area networking appliance company; and senior vice president and general manager, products division, Global Village Communication. Mr. Oppenheimer was also at Apple Computer from 1984 to 1993. Throughout his career, Mr. Oppenheimer has been responsible for leading the creation and development of new businesses based on innovative technology products. Mr. Oppenheimer holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Computer Science from Union College.

At Digital Fountain, Mr. Oppenheimer will be responsible for forging key industry relationships including OEM, technology licensing, joint development, as well as strategic partnerships. Mr. Oppenheimer will also work with the chief executive officer to drive the development of the company's long-term strategy.
