Digital Effects For DreamWorks Latest TV Animation Project "Invasion America" Created On High-Performance Tri-Star Computer Workstations.


PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 17, 1998--Tri-Star Computer has teamed with DreamWorks TV Animation to produce digital effects Synthetic sounds and animations created in the digital domain. The show's special digital effects were developed and produced on selected workstations, including Tri-Star Computer NT-based, high-performance graphics workstations. Production included innovative computer-generated sequences combined with network primetime quality cel animation. Development was done on Tri-Star's StarStation Intel Pentium II-based models featuring high-performance graphics subsystems.

"Tri-Star has been a great business partner in providing us with increased computing and graphics power to bring Invasion America through production," said Keith Matz, computer graphics artist at DreamWorks TV Animation.

"Invasion America" made its June 8 debut on the WB network and will air on Tuesdays (9 p.m.-10 p.m. EST) for three consecutive weeks, beginning June 16. The 90-minute finale airs Tuesday July 7, (8 p.m.- 9:30 p.m. EST).
