The newly combined company will do business as Digital Angel and trades on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "DIGA".

The company is a leading provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) and global positioning system (GPS) technologies that enable the rapid and accurate identification, location tracking and condition monitoring of people, animals and high-value assets.

Joseph J. Grillo is named the company's CEO.
