The acquisition of audio watermarking patents, basic technology assets, and products from Cognicity has been completed, giving Digimarc additional capabilities to license technology and products to support the music, video and broadcast industries. The Cognicity assets cover core watermarking software, transactional watermarking software, promotional CD marking software for forensic tracking applications, and licenses to five patents from the University of Minnesota (body, education) University of Minnesota - The home of Gopher.
