Digicon Corporation Wins Bid to Install 1100 Cisco IPT Phones for the Baltimore Housing Authority.


ROCKVILLE, Md. -- Digicon Corporation (www.digicon.com), a developer of network engineering, software development, and Internet Protocol See Internet and TCP/IP.

 Telephony (IPT IPT - IP Telephony ) solutions for Federal and commercial clients, announced today that it has been awarded a contract with Baltimore Housing, to install 1,130 IP phones on an all-encompassing IPT Cisco(R) platform. Of the 1,130 phones, 600 of them will be installed on the 14 floors of HABC's corporate headquarters. The remaining telephones will be installed at 37 remote locations throughout the city of Baltimore.

Digicon, a Cisco Gold partner, has been supporting Baltimore Housing's Information Technology (IT) needs for several years. Digicon will sub-contract to several local minority businesses on this project in the areas of: deployment, equipment training, and on-going support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services .
