DigiOn(R) DiXiM(R) Product Family to Support 'Marlin IPTV-ES' DRM.

FUKUOKA, Japan -- DigiOn, Inc. announces that DiXiM Product Family supports 'Marlin IPTV-ES,' a subset of new Digital Right Management (DRM) system called Marlin. The company starts development and product delivery.

The Marlin Developer Community (the "MDC") provides Technical specifications for Marlin DRM. For CE product manufacturers who want to implement into devices with limited resources and less computing power, 'Marlin IPTV-ES' is the one to use as a Marlin DRM.

DigiOn has been delivering Home Network Middleware and SDK for DLNA certified products, and hearing strong requests that users want to use them with outside network connection. It's a seamlessly connected device operation with Internet. The company has made the decision to develop and support Marlin IPTV-ES to meet customer demands in IPTV segment. DiXiM family products will be modified and started shipping from Q1/2007.

(3) DiXiM DMA HAK has passed "NSTL pre-submission test for PFS(TM)" implemented by NSTL which is authorized independent testing lab for Microsoft[R] PlaysForSure(TM) logo program. To support PlaysForSure(TM) on final products, manufacturer is required to pass NSTL pre-submission test for PFS(TM) individually. PlaysForSure(TM) logo program is currently available only in U.S.A.
