Digi International Announces Retirement of David Stanley from Board of Directors.

) today announced that director David Stanley has retired from its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Stanley, 67, had been a member of the Board since 1990.

In a letter dated September 6, 2002 to Digi CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Joe Dunsmore, Stanley noted that his term would have expired in January 2003 and that other commitments would prevent him from attending meetings for the balance of the current calendar year.

Dunsmore said that Stanley has added wisdom and insight to the Digi board. "David has served Digi with great distinction as an outside director for many years," Dunsmore said. "His wise counsel will be missed. We wish David all the best in his retirement."
