Town offering limited flu vaccinations

GRAFTON - The town Health Department is offering a limited number of vaccinations for the H1N1 flu virus.

The vaccine will be provided to the following groups on a first-come, first-served “FCFS” redirects here. For the figure skating competition, see Four Continents Figure Skating Championships.

Sewer expansion completed on 4 streets

MILLBURY - The Board of Sewer Commissioners has announced that the town sewer expansion project has been completed on the following streets: Martin Street, Park Hill Avenue, Holman Road and Weldon Drive.

Guitar Center hosting food drive

MILLBURY - The Guitar Center, 70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike turnpike, road paid for partly or wholly by fees collected from travelers at tollgates. It derives its name from the hinged bar that prevented passage through such a gate until the toll was paid. See also road. , is hosting a food drive through Nov. 15. Anyone who donates a non-perishable item will receive a coupon for 10 percent off their next Guitar Center purchase.

State Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, is encouraging local artists to take advantage of a networking event for artists to be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Statehouse. The program, called "Artists Under the Dome," involves artists from all disciplines, including visual, literary, performing and creative arts.

"Artists create and enhance a vibrant culture across the commonwealth, and our support of their respective crafts is essential to the vitality of our local communities," said Mr. Moore, who is a member of the Legislature's Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development. "`Artists Under the Dome' offers a unique opportunity to artists so that they may network and support their society through brainstorming and discussion sessions throughout the day."
