Digest.COLUMN: Digest Library lists fall children's activities SPENCER - The Richard Sugden Library, 8 Pleasant St., has announced its children's programs for the fall: The toddler story hour, for children ages 6 months to 3, takes place from 10 to 10:45 every Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Preregistration pre·reg·is·tra·tion n. An early registration, as for returning college students, that takes place before general registration. is required for either program. The preschool story hour, for children 3 and older, takes place from 11 a.m. to noon every Tuesday and Wednesday. Preregistration is required for either program. The Family After-School Program meets the first three Wednesdays of the month from 4 to 5 p.m. The program will include stories, activities and a craft based on the week's theme. The last Wednesday of the month will be the Monthly Special, with programming for children up to Grade 6 from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. The Read with Me Book Club will meet once a month on Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m. for Grade 2 and up. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend and read the books. Depending on the ages of the participants, there will be an older and younger book selection.
