DigMedia Announces Agreement With MSN Music.

DigMedia's Windows CE-based Digital Audio Receiver and Automated

Deployment Platform, IRIS, Enables Consumers to Access MSN Music MSN Music was an online music store managed by Microsoft, and was accessible using either a web browser or within Windows Media Player. It was created by Microsoft in 2004 to compete with Apple's iTunes Music Store, though its sales in comparison are still negligible.  

Services Through Their Home Stereo System Directly

DigMedia, Inc., today announced that it has entered into an agreement with MSN Music to offer MSN Music services, including 60 pre-programmed radio stations, on MSN Music. These new services will run on DigMedia's digital audio receiver which will be available this year and takes advantage of the rich multimedia functionality delivered in Windows CE (Windows Consumer Electronics) Microsoft's version of Windows for handheld devices and embedded systems that use x86, ARM, MIPS and SHx CPUs. Windows CE .NET superseded Windows CE 3.0. . The offering will have access to MSN Music streams on a consumer-friendly, broadband-ready intelligent client device that hooks up directly to the home stereo system without the need of a PC. The device will be provided and marketed by DigMedia.
