HOLLYWOOD scriptwriters are having to work round the clock to rewrite the plot of a new Bruce Willis Walter Bruce Willis (born March 19, 1955) is an American actor and singer. The script of Die Hard 4, the long-awaited third sequel in the Die Hard series, has had to be drastically altered.

Unfortunately for movie moguls, the action-packed plot bore a chilling resemblance to the devastation caused by Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Its original plot had 50-year-old Bruce Willis's hero character John McClane and his daughter involved in a terror plot while on a holiday in the Gulf Coast.

The film was to feature a high octane sequence on the Mississippi with a freight train crashing through a bridge on to an oil tanker, causing an enormous explosion which sends monster waves into New Orleans.

A source said: "The Mississippi scene would have been spectacular but there is no way it can be used."
