 Yash Gupta, the dean of USC's Marshall School of Business The Marshall School of Business (also known as USC Marshall School of Business) is the business school at the University of Southern California. It is the largest of USC's 17 professional schools. The current Dean is James G. Ellis. ? He resigned abruptly last week, after just 18 months on the job--and after a precipitous drop by Marshall in the influential U.S. News & World Report ranking of top U.S. business schools. Last year, it fell to No. 27 in the rankings after hitting No. 17 in 2002.
