Dictaphone to Partner with Genesys on CTI Solutions.

In the first agreement of its kind, Dictaphone will offer

the Genesys T-Server Framework as an expandable CTI foundation along with its CTI-enabled recording solutions

Dictaphone Corporation today announced an agreement with Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ:GCTI), to provide a limited-function version of that company's T-Server Framework software with its computer telephony integrated voice recording solutions for call centers.

The Genesys T-Server is a sophisticated open architecture software product that allows various systems, including Dictaphone's Symphony CTI(TM) and da Vinci(TM) recording systems, to capture and interact with data from virtually any telephone switch. Call centers can then use the wide range of telephony data to selectively record or quickly retrieve needed calls, resulting in lower operational costs, and enhanced agent productivity and customer service.

Ron Elwell, senior vice president of Dictaphone's Communications Recording Systems and International Operations, said the agreement makes Dictaphone the only provider today of recording equipment to be a certified reseller and support organization for Genesys. This enables Dictaphone to offer customers the CTI-enabling potential of the Genesys T-Server, which gives call centers an expandable platform for total CTI capabilities in the future.
