Dicky slays 'em; The Sunday Mail joins the stars as Coronation Street bad guy Richard Hillman scoops five gongs at the British Soap Awards.
CORRIE star Brian Capron slayed them at the British Soap Awards last night.
He collected a record five trophies thanks to serial killer Tricky Dicky.
Brian, who brilliantly played Street psycho Richard Hillman, won Best Actor, Best Villain, Best Exit, Spectacular Scene of the Year and Best Storyline.
He was booed by the crowds outside as he arrived but had the last laugh inside.
Brian said: "I wasn't even aware I was up for five awards. They're not just about me, they're about everybody else in the show.
"Best Villain was the one I'd hoped I'd win but to win Best Actor is just gobsmacking.
"Normally when people vote for actors in soap they go for EastEnders. This means Coronation Street has lifted itself up, shaken itself down and is back in the game."
He paid tribute to the cast members he attacked on his murderous rampage, including hairdresser Maxine, screen wife Gail and kids Sarah, David and Bethany and said: "I have had a great two years on Corrie. It's been fantastic.
"I don't think I could have chosen a nicer job at this time in my career."
Corrie slaughtered EastEnders by nine awards to three. Walford's winners were Shane Richie for Sexiest Male, Jessie Wallace for Sexiest Female for the second year and Kacey Ainsworth for Best Actress.
The night lived up to its glam image with acres of flesh on show.
Corrie stunners Suranne Jones, Sally Lindsay and Angela Lonsdale arrived together in figure- hugging black outfits.
Suranne was breathtaking in a see-through chiffon kimono-style dress with hot pants. Samia Gahadie - Corrie's Maria Sutherland - was a sparkling contrast in white mini- skirt and top.
Sexiest couple Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace arrived together. But Jessie appeared to make the ultimate fashion faux pas by wearing the same black dress as last year.
Scarlett Johnson, alias EastEnder teen Vicky Mitchell, looked older than her years in a creamy white vintage dress.
Kim Medcalf, who arrived with co-star Steve McFadden and Jill Halfpenny, wore a green Sybil Stanislaus dress. Former Brookside stunner Jennifer Ellison turned heads in a green chiffon mini dress while 12- year-old Raymond Quinn looked like a baby-faced gangster out of Bugsy Malone.
Despite being axed Crossroads stars turned on the style with Jane Asher in a Jasper Conran dress.
Emmerdale beauty Amy Nuttall, who plays Chloe Atkinson, looked stunning in a long orange Versace dress while Sammy Windward, who plays Katie Addyman, wore a white 50s- style Prada dress. Shane Richie, collecting his Sexiest Male award from chart-toppers the Cheeky Girls, said: "I've never done it with twins before. It's like Butlins '84."
He added: "You know I have done some crap in my time.
"I've been called a lot of things over the last 20 years I've been in the business.
"I've been called a prat, the pillock, the game-show man but never Sexiest Male.
"I'm 39, slated, overweight and divorced with two children. It ain't bad." He said he did not know who to thank and could only come up with the make-up artist.
Before leaving the stage he warned his EastEnders co-stars: "I'm not going to let you forget that I'm the Sexiest Male. Thank you so much."
Richie joined the soap in November last year as crafty ex-convict Alfie Moon who blagged his way in as manager of the Queen Vic.
Since then he has been an instant success with the fans.
His fellow Walford star Kacey Ainsworth opened her heart on her miscarriage agony as she picked up the Best Actress award for her portrayal of battered wife Little Mo.
Kacey, who lost her baby in November, was visibly moved by the honour and said: "I'm absolutely shocked.
"EastEnders is a wonderful place to work but I haven't been in the show for three months - and most of you know why.
"After a really dismal 2002, this means I can focus on something positive out of a very horrid end".
