The suggested donation for Tuesday's show is $5 to $20 on a sliding scale slid·ing scale

Reeotch and Tricky P,

featuring Jerry Groove

Thursday, Luna

Reeotch and Tricky P featuring Jerry Groove does not sound like an acoustic outing. But a night of acoustic music is what you're in for at Luna on Thursday.

Reeotch (Rich Sellars, drums) and Tricky P (Patrick Kavaney, guitar) call themselves an acoustic percussion duo. They're both veterans of many bands, and the pair met back in the early '90s, when they were members of Dr. Fred and the Love Surgeons.

Showtime is 8:30 p.m., and the cover is $5. Luna is at 30 E. Broadway.

Head for the Hills

Bluegrass Band

Thursday, Cozmic Pizza

The Head for the Hills Bluegrass Band will head for Eugene this week for a show at Cozmic Pizza.

The Olympia outfit will perform beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday. The cover will be $3 to $5 on a sliding scale.

Electric Apricot

Thursday, WOW Hall

The NoCal jam band Electric Apricot is no stranger to the WOW Hall. With its brand of "semi-groove-oriented psychedelic soundscapes" (so says the WOW Hall news release), Electric Apricot has developed a reputation as one of the most affable bands around.

The WOW Hall is contractually prevented from using the band members' names in any publicity. But if the Internet is to be believed (and come on, don't we believe everything we read online), then a certain former lead singer of Primus just may be on board.

Get in on the fun Thursday when the band plugs for a 9:30 p.m. show. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
