STEVEN HOLL ARCHITECTS: POROSITY

Investigates concepts of porosity through the fusion of architecture with urbanism and landscape, or light with form, and shade with shadow. Holl's firm invented a material for the exhibition (a digitally perforated porous skin of walnut and composite laminate) that explores the possibilities of design, construction and perception presented by new digital techniques.
