: BITS) announced today that, as part of Extensis Inc.'s acquisition of DiamondSoft, Bitstream will sell its shares in DiamondSoft to Extensis. Bitstream currently owns 31.7% of DiamondSoft.

On June 30, 2003, Extensis "announced that it had reached a definitive agreement to acquire DiamondSoft, Inc., the developer of the font management software solution Font Reserve Font Reserve was a Mac OS and Windows compatible font manager sold by Diamondsoft, and later Extensis. Some of the core features were incorporated into a new product, Suitcase Fusion in January 2006. . Extensis is wholly-owned by Celartem Technology USA, Inc."

Extensis, which owns Suitcase, and DiamondSoft, which owns Font Reserve, are "joining forces to accelerate further innovations" in font management.
