Diamond Multimedia Systems, Inc. Diamond Multimedia's new Supra VoiceMail(TM) software, version 2.3, provides users with a variety of new, easy-to-use benefits including: Fax-on-Demand, Voice/Pager Notification, Mailbox Password Protection, and Caller ID A telephone company service that sends the caller's telephone number between the first and second ring of the call. If the calling number is not blocked, the calling number is displayed on the handset or base station of the called party.  Support. Supra VoiceMail software, built exclusively for Macintosh operating systems by Diamond Multimedia, is included free with the SupraSonic 336V+ and SupraExpress 336e Sp modems.

By running in background mode, Supra VoiceMail ensures that calls are answered and recorded even if the user is working in another application. The messages include a date/time stamp, length of message, phone number for Caller ID, and a memo field A data field that holds a variable amount of text. The text may be stored in a companion file, but it is treated as if it were part of the data record. For example, in the dBASE command list name, biography . Mailboxes can be set-up for distinct pager numbers so users will instantly be paged with Caller ID identification on the messages. Individual set-up of different mailboxes allows more than one person to take advantage of this notification feature.
