 Customers Can Now Connect with Faster Modems From Diamond

Diamond Multimedia Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq: DIMD DIMD Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary ), a leader in Internet multimedia acceleration, today announced a joint promotion with Pacific Bell Internet (PBI).

PBI subscribers can purchase a Diamond SupraExpress 336 modem and receive a special money-back mail-in rebate from Diamond. The special offer is available on both internal and external modems for Windows-based PCs, as well as external modems for Macintosh.

PBI is encouraging their customers to take advantage of this special modem offer and is contacting them by email. Additional details of the promotion are available on the PBI web site at http://www.public.pacbell.net, or by calling 1-800-708-4638. The modem upgrade program is one of several other initiatives planned by Pacific Bell Internet and Diamond Multimedia to encourage more widespread use of Internet connectivity.
