All portable music players, the iPod being the most popular, support MP3 along with one or more other audio formats.  to support Handspring's new Visor product based on the Springboard(TM) platform. The all-new Rio player will be custom-designed for Visor's "SpringBoard" expansion slot A receptacle inside a computer or other electronic system that accepts a printed circuit board.
