Quantex will offer these high-end multimedia desktop systems with 8MB AGP-based versions of the Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro.

The Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro is optimized for Windows NT and Windows 95 platforms and accelerates 3D performance for applications based on OpenGL, Direct3D and HEIDI application programming interfaces (APIs).

Featuring 8MB of 100MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  SGRAM, the Fire GL 1000 Pro is capable of processing up to one million texture-mapped polygons per second. In addition to an integrated geometry set up engine, the Fire GL 1000 Pro includes 3D features in hardware such as rasterization, texture mapping, double-buffering and 16-bit Z-buffering. The Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro is capable of supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 in 16-bit color and offers software driver support for demanding graphics applications such as AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, and Lightscape as well as Adobe's Photoshop and Illustrator. Bundled with the Fire GL 1000 Pro are Diamond Multimedia's AutoCAD productivity utilities: 3D Win, an OpenGL-based 3D viewer, and Big Focus, a 2D display list driver with a simplified interface and user-defined zoom levels.
