Dialogic Extends Its Messaging Reach With Enhanced Fax Boards

Dialogic(R), an Intel Company and the global leader in open computer telephony (CT), today announced the availability of two new single slot, PCI, high-density digital fax solutions for the enterprise, the CPi/2400CT-T1 and the CPi/3000CT-E1. The combination of these new boards along with the Dialogic fax software development kit, GDK 4.01, enables value added resellers to quickly and easily install an entire span of fax technology without the need for multiple boards and connecting cables. This provides the end-user with a compact, powerful fax solution, housed in a single fax server box that is easy to maintain and manage.

Enterprise Fax Technology Powered By DM3

The DM3 Fax Series, based on the Dialogic DM3 mediastream architecture, provides hardware with unprecedented densities and scalability for enterprise solutions. The CPi/2400CT-T1 is a single-slot PCI card that supports 24 intelligent fax channels and contains an integrated T1 network interface. The CPi/3000CT-E1 board provides a full span of fax channels for international markets with 30 available ports and an integrated Euro-ISDN network interface. Both of these boards also provide support for the T.30 protocol, as well as all advanced compression schemes and modem speeds for both sending and receiving faxes.

GDK 4.01--Powerful Integration Capabilitites

Using GDK 4.01 in combination with the CPi/2400CT-T1 or CPi/3000CT-E1 boards and the interactive programming model, provides seamless integration, backwards compatibility and field upgradability to those applications currently supporting the lower-density CP products from Dialogic. This allows fax application developers to bring their new high-density solutions to market faster. At the same time, it enables VARs to quickly and easily upgrade existing low-density ISA fax servers to the new high density DM3-based products, while providing the end-user with a large-scale fax solution that is cost-effective, easy to maintain, and does not occupy valuable space within the network.
