Surprised audiences were asked to use their cell phones in the theater during Ballet Austin's choreographic competition, New American Talent/Dance. Choreographers Thang Dao, Thaddeus Davis, and Sonya Delwaide set their pieces on Ballet Austin Ballet Austin is the fourth largest ballet company and academy in the world. Each year the Ballet Austin company performs ballets from a wide variety of composers, including their artistic director, Stephen Mills.  dancers. After each performance, audience members voted via their cell phones to award one contestant a $1,000 prize.
