Mr. Travis Lee, vice president sales and marketing for Cell Robotics, commented, "At times there were educators waiting in line at all four testing stations to try the Lasette. Diabetes educators are very interested in minimizing the pain and soreness for their patients. Furthermore, their patients have been asking about the Lasette, so they wanted to try it. Most seem pleased with what they saw and the enthusiasm exceeded our expectations."

The American Association Diabetes Educators (AADE AADE American Association of Diabetes Educators
AADE American Association of Dental Examiners
AADE American Association of Dental Editors

) represents 16,000 diabetic educators that train diabetics on how to treat their disease and monitor their progress. The members of the AADE are extremely important to the successful introduction of new technology. With over 10 million Americans and over 100 million people worldwide diagnosed with diabetes, the market potential for the Lasette is large. Chronimed Inc., is the exclusive worldwide distributor of Cell Robotics' Lasette.

Dr. Ronald K. Lohrding, Ph.D., chairman, president and chief executive officer of Cell Robotics, commented, "We are elated with the AADE reception of the Personal Lasette. Customer-suggested changes in the plastic parts and laser beam conditioning should complete the development stage. We are eager to initiate manufacturing, but will not until we have addressed all customer input and quality control issues. The Personal Lasette is a paradigm shift A dramatic change in methodology or practice. It often refers to a major change in thinking and planning, which ultimately changes the way projects are implemented. For example, accessing applications and data from the Web instead of from local servers is a paradigm shift.
