The series, starting with the first installment, "Diabesity: A Silent Epidemic" will profile middle-aged adults who ignored the warning signs, describe the harsh reality of a life with diabetes, provide a description of a national future without action, as well as ways to prevent diabetes. A third of the estimated 41 million of Americans who are pre-diabetic are unaware of having the condition.
