DiPrima, SVP/GMM for Parisian, Adds Home to Responsibilities.Business Editors Saks Incorporated (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange : SKS) (the "Company") today announced that Doug DiPrima, Senior Vice President/General Merchandise Manager of Cosmetics, Shoes, Accessories, and Intimate Apparel for Parisian, will assume the additional responsibility for Parisian's decorative home business. The change is effective immediately. DiPrima will continue to report to Rob Gruen, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. of Parisian. Rob Gruen noted, "We are very pleased to appoint Doug DiPrima to this expanded role within Parisian. Doug is a talented and proven merchant, and his leadership has been instrumental in making Parisian the `special' department store that it is today. DiPrima joined Parisian in 1986 as a buyer and was promoted to Divisional Vice President/Divisional Merchandise Manager for Shoes in 1994. In 1998, he was promoted to his most recent post of Senior Vice President/General Merchandise Manager. Prior to joining Parisian, DiPrima held various merchandising positions with Macy's.
