DiOP included in $189.5 Million NH Initiatives in Defense Appropriations Bill.

, N.H. -- Diversified diversified (di·verˑ·s  Optical Products, Inc. (DiOP), a world-wide leader in thermal imaging solutions since 1976, has been awarded funding under the fiscal year 2005 Defense Appropriations bill, which was passed unopposed by the senate. Under the bill, $189.5 million is slated for New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts (S), Vermont, with the Connecticut R. forming the boundary (W), the Canadian province of Quebec (NW), and Maine and a short strip of the Atlantic Ocean (E).  firms. Of this, DiOP is provided $4 million to accelerate research and development on an aircraft carrier surveillance protection system for the US Navy. The system will enhance shipboard ship·board
