Dhofar Municipality's Committee / Meeting.Salalah, Nov 21 (ONA) --- Dhofar Municipality's Committee today held its 5th regular meeting of the year under the chairmanship of Sheikh sheikh or shaykh Among Arabic-speaking tribes, especially Bedouin, the male head of the family, as well as of each successively larger social unit making up the tribal structure. The sheikh is generally assisted by an informal tribal council of male elders. Salim bin Ufait al Shanfari, Head of Dhofar Municipality and Head of the Committee. Aa AaAa The meeting approved minutes of the previous meeting No. 4/2009 and reviewed measures taken to implement its recommendations, in addition to, discussing the topic of taxi tariff tariff, tax on imported and, more rarely, exported goods. It is also called a customs duty. Tariffs may be distinguished from other taxes in that their predominant purpose is not financial but economic—not to increase a nation's revenue but to protect domestic in the Governorate of Dhofar and other relevant topics to the municipal work system and means of developing and promoting it.
