) today announced that two films in "The Artists' Specials" series received three Gemini Award nominations from The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. "Degas and the Dancer" received nominations for Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program for Thomas Jay Ryan who portrayed Degas and for Best Writing in a Children's or Youth Program for the screenplay by Heather Conkie. "Rembrandt: Fathers and Sons" also earned a nomination for Best Picture Editing in a Dramatic Program or Series for editor Rik Morden. The acclaimed series, "The Artists' Specials," produced by David Devine and Richard Mozer, is currently airing on HBO Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO)
