Devine Entertainment Completes Private Placement Financing.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 13, 2004

Devine Entertainment Corporation (CUB:DVNN, NASDAQ, OTCPK:DVNNF) today announced that it has completed a private placement of 5,160,000 units, each consisting of one common share and one-half purchase warrant at $0.10 per unit. Each warrant is exercisable, at any time on or prior to April 7, 2005, to acquire one common share and one common share purchase warrant (a "step-up warrant") at an exercise price of $0.15 per unit. Each step-up warrant will be exercisable, at any time on or prior to April 7, 2006, to acquire one common share at an exercise price $0.30.

The proceeds of $516,000 are earmarked for investment in new film and television production, the development of the Company's marketing and distribution activities and general working capital. This infusion of capital will also assist the Company in its efforts to improve its balance sheet. All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
