Architects have proposed a new commercial shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into on a 1.4-acre parcel at 18120 Pioneer Blvd. called Bhindi International Crossroads. Bhindi already owns a significant amount of property along Pioneer Boulevard including Bhindi Jewelers. The new 22,000-square-foot project will include 14,900 square foot of retail, 4,300 square feet of office and service space and 2,729 square feet of restaurant.
