The CTU is encouraging NZNO NZNO New Zealand Nurses Organisation to engage in this project, as NZNO has existing links with the region. The first part of the initiative was to develop a system of "union mapping". A plan could then be developed as to how unions in New Zealand could support South Pacific unions and find out what they needed. This could be in practical ways like providing education resources, or advice and support on how to develop computer systems. |
