Developer set to build on Beth Israel site.


Skyline Developers has inked a deal to buy a former Beth Israel Hospital See:
  • Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston
  • Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan
 site and build a residential development.

Skyline, an affiliate of Garden Homes Development, a national developer of residential and commercial properties, has signed an agreement with Continuum Health Partners, the parent company for Beth Israel Medical Center Beth Israel Medical Center is a hospital in New York City. It has four major locations providing health services. It acts as University Hospital and Manhattan Campus for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. , for the purchase of the hospital's Singer Division property at 170 East End Avenue and two adjacent apartment buildings at 530 East 88th Street.

Garden Homes Development was represented by Leonard Boxer and Peter Koffler of Stroock Stroock & Lavin LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol .

The developer plans to build a residential building for families who want to work and live in Manhattan, and empty nesters, who want to move back to the city.
