Deutsche Woolworth Signs Global E-Sourcing, Order Management Agreement with TradeStone Software.

GLOUCESTER, Mass. -- German Retailer Selects TradeStone's SteppingStones Solution to Source Goods from Around the World

TradeStone Software, a pioneering leader in collaborative e-sourcing software, today announced that Deutsche Woolworth GmbH & Co. OHG, one of the leading German retail groups, operating more than 330 outlets in Germany and Austria, has selected the company's SteppingStones Suite to purchase global merchandise for their own stores and to offer in a service bureau environment to retailers who buy through Woolworth. The agreement marks TradeStone's entry into the European market.

TradeStone Software helps build global commerce communities with solutions that support sourcing, unified order management to handle international and domestic purchasing, and logistics. TradeStone will work with Deutsche Woolworth and implementation partner IBM to tailor SteppingStones' functionality to meet the unique requirements of the European market. The resulting solution will support Woolworth's global order management requirements with sourcing and order management collaboration across Woolworth's supplier base. This capability will be expanded to the company's customer base, who will be able to use the software to source goods from Woolworth, its suppliers and service providers.
