WHO:        Detroit Artists Market and ArtServe Michigan will host a
            free monthly legal clinic for Detroit area artists.

WHAT:       The Artists Legal Clinic in Detroit is an opportunity for
            artists to seek advice on their arts-related legal issues.
            The legal services will be offered to metro Detroit area
            artists at the same location and time each fourth Thursday
            of the month.

WHEN:       Thursday, July 22, 2004
            The Artists Legal Clinic officially opens at 5:00 p.m. and
            will close at 7:00 p.m.

            THE PRESS IS INVITED TO ATTEND; THERE WILL BE PHOTO
            OPPORTUNITIES OF ARTISTS INTERACTING WITH LAWYER, JOHN
            WILLEMS. KIM DABBS, DIRECTOR, SERVICE PROGRAMS AND AARON
            TIMLIN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF DAM WILL BE AVAILABLE TO
            ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LEGAL CLINIC AND SERVICES
            OFFERED TO ARTISTS BY BOTH ORGANIZATIONS.
