Desktop NCLB tool. (Abstract).


The U.S. Department of Education has produced a new 180-page desktop reference manual to the No Child Left Behind Act The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (Public Law 107-110), commonly known as NCLB (IPA: /ˈnɪkəlbiː/), is a United States federal law that was passed in the House of Representatives on May 23, 2001 .

For each section of NCLB NCLB No Child Left Behind (US education initiative) , the manual details the purpose, what's new in the law, how the program works, key requirements, how to achieve quality, how performance is measured and key responsibilities for state education departments.

Copies of the publication are available at no charge by calling toll-free 877-4ED-PUBS. It also is accessible at www.ed.gov/pubs/edpubs.html.
