Designer, speak for yourself.

For many years Nursing Homes/Long Term Care Management, through its DESIGN annual publications, has offered a forum for architectural and interior design firms to display their most recent long-term care long-term care (LTC),
n the provision of medical, social, and personal care services on a recurring or continuing basis to persons with chronic physical or mental disorders.
projects. The focus--both for the firms and for the reviewers who judged the projects--was on the projects themselves, not on those who created them. We are now taking that extra step: offering design firms the opportunity to describe and talk about themselves in any terms they see fit. This is the first in what is planned as a growing list of "architectural/interior design calling cards," enabling readers to briefly meet and review experienced and accomplished firms in long-term care construction and renovation.

How do you plan to accommodate the likely demands of the Baby-Boomer generation?

We think that boomers are more conscious about sustainable design and "healthy buildings." By making buildings more responsive to the site, healthier, and more energy efficient, we not only improve the lives of the inhabitants

How do you plan to accommodate the likely demands of the Baby-Boomer generation?

Although there is much concern about what the Baby-Boomer generation will expect from its long-term care providers, in reality we will be serving the "Silent" generation first. The expectations for services, facilities, and amenities will continue to increase with each successive generation, and the impact of technology will affect how these expectations are addressed.
