Designees for Hanesbrands Inc. Board of Directors Announced; Will Set Direction for Leading Apparel Company Following Spin-Off.


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Hanesbrands Inc. today announced that it has chosen seven designees to join Lee A. Chaden, executive chairman, and Richard A. Noll, chief executive officer, as members of the board of directors of Hanesbrands, Inc.

Sara Lee Corporation (NYSE: SLE) is a global consumer-goods company based in Downers Grove, Illinois, USA.
 Corporation has announced plans to spin off its branded apparel business in the Americas and Asia as Hanesbrands Inc., which will be an independent, publicly traded consumer goods consumer goods

Peterson has held operating, finance and strategy roles at Kraft, PepsiCo and Sears, where she was heavily involved in initial public offerings and spin-offs in her role as treasurer during the early-to mid-90s.
