Design brings color to neighborhood revival now underway in Longwood.

The $15 million project involved the gut renovation of an existing two-story garage as well as a new four-story and cellar addition. Gran Associates' design program focused on unifying the irregular building site via a diagonal "Main Street" which ties together the existing and the new building. The use of the diagonal as a central design theme further reflects on nearby Westchester Ave., which cuts diagonally through the neighborhood.

The new school features a unique colorful facade, which adds to the neighborhood revival. Play space on the roof is accessed from the multipurpose mul·ti·pur·pose
