Current pumping technologies are a frequent cause of renal and neurological complications due to a failure to push blood through up to 40% of the capillaries. Our pumping system comprises a reusable driver and a high margin, single use disposable. The result is better patient care, with improved perfusion throughout all organs, thus reducing the negative complications of heart surgery, while passing on substantial savings to the hospital. We believe that using our heart pump will greatly reduce the total number of patient days spent in the hospital as a result of post-surgical complications.
