Design Automation Conference Supports San Diego Area Charity.

BOULDER, Colo. -- Attendees at the 44th Design Automation Conference (DAC) will have the opportunity to contribute to a local charity that provides critical transitional housing to battered mothers and their children in the greater San Diego area. The Soroptimist International of Poway will be selling matted photo cards of San Diego scenes to raise money for the Transitional Housing Program, which helps to move moms and children away from abuse. The photo cards will be offered for a suggested donation of $5 each and will make ideal souvenirs for attendees. The cards feature scenic shots of the San Diego area by local photographer Frances Reilly, who donated her work at cost for this fundraiser. The Soroptimist display will be located in the San Diego Convention Center lobby throughout the conference. DAC exhibit hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, June 4 through Wednesday, June 6, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 7. For information regarding DAC, visit the Web site at www.dac.com/.
