Design Automation Conference Announces Executive Committee.BOULDER, Colo. -- The Design Automation Conference (DAC See D/A converter and discretionary access control. DAC - Digital to Analog Converter ) announced its Executive Committee for the electronic design automation (EDA) industry's premier event. The committee, comprised of volunteer representatives from the electronics and EDA industries and academia, is responsible for planning the technical program, overseeing the exhibition, establishing new initiatives, managing operations and publicity for the 42nd DAC, which will be held June 13-17, 2005, at the Anaheim Convention Center Anaheim Convention Center is a major convention center in Anaheim, California. It is located across from the Disneyland Resort on Katella Avenue. Much of the Anaheim Convention Center has been renovated in recent years with state-of-the-art facilities. in Anaheim, Calif. The 42nd DAC Executive Committee is led by General Chair, William H. Joyner, Jr. of IBM Corp., who will provide strategic direction for the conference. Joyner is a Research Staff Member at IBM and is on assignment as Director of Computer-Aided Design and Test at the Semiconductor Research Corporation, Research Triangle Park Research Triangle Park, research, business, medical, and educational complex situated in central North Carolina. It has an area of 6,900 acres (2,795 hectares) and is 8 × 2 mi (13 × 3 km) in size. Named for the triangle formed by Duke Univ. , N.C., where he administers part of the university-based research program of this not-for-profit industry consortium.
